AUDIT NOTIFICATION
We'll notify you in the months prior that your audit is approaching. Here, you can accept or delay an audit.
We'll notify you in the months prior that your audit is approaching. Here, you can accept or delay an audit.
From there, our team will organise a day to come and survey your property.
We'll process your data against a GIS dataset, and determine your survey result.
Once complete, we report your audit to Zespri®, who will then be in contact with you.
A survey conducted by GPSit on behalf of Zespri®, involves measuring each block on an orchard to establish the size of the production (block) areas. These can also be areas that are being developed for future development. For Zespri Audits, normal surveying practice is all blocks are surveyed at the time of the audit regardless of when they were last surveyed. Please see ‘GPSit Orchard Surveying Information’ for further detail on how GPSit conducts surveys.
If you have purchased a new or additional Zespri Variety licence, you will have an audit scheduled for that season. GPSit will notify you via email in the month prior that your audit is approaching. If you have not purchased any additional Zespri Licence in recent years, you will be audited every three years as part of Zespri Random Auditing programme.
A change in your orchard structure including changes to end assemblies and ag beams can change the size of your block and impact your Zespri Licenced area.
Our surveyors will arrive on your property on a day previously organised with you. We recommend that you are on-site during the time of the survey to discuss any structural, block split and/or block name changes, however, this is not required. Our team will then walk around your orchard to complete the survey.
Because we (GPSit) are contracted by Zespri® to undergo the audits, we provide your survey results directly to them within 30 days of completing your survey.
Please contact the Zespri Licence Team on 07 572 6440 or email them at new.cultivars@zespri.com for further information as to when you will receive your survey results.
